Missionary work! ...by me!

I love knowing that I'm learning in Seminary. They teach you about missionary work. Today I was my own missionary. My mom wanted to talk, and I tied it all into a lesson about the adversary. It was amazing! I didn't think I knew that much, but it just started pouring out of me. Even though it was just a little chat, probably unsubstantial, it was a testimony-growing experience for me! Mmm, jumpin in some sweats, grabbing my scriptures and patriarchal blessing, reading a bit, then off to Braiden's to choose a tie! It's been a good night,

Amazing Stories

Well...I feel good about myself!

Have you ever got the feeling that you've really helped someone? Even in the most simple way?

It's the most amazing feeling you will ever feel. I love knowing that just spending five minutes talking to someone, might help. My friend approached me with a problem today. They didn't know what to do and they really needed help. I gave the best advice I could, and I think they took it to heart. Just the fact that they were smiling after our conversation made my day. I'm glad to help, and I'm grateful that people can trust me and will confide in me.

The Questions and My Answers!

1. If you blog anonymously, are you happy doing this? If you aren't anonymous, do you wish you started out anonymously, so that you could be anonymous now?

I love the fact that people can read my blog! It gives them a sense of who I am as an individual!

2. Describe an incident that shows your inner stubborn side.

Debates. I will argue with you until I am right. Don't try to change my mind about anything!

3. What do you see when you really look at yourself in the mirror?

I see someone who is proud of who she is and what she has become.

4. What is your favourite summer cold drink?

Can you say, "lemonade!"

5. When you take time for yourself, what do you do?

Just mess around. Try to curl my hair, text, blog, maybe sleep?

6. Is there something that you still want to accomplish in your life?

I want to run a marathon. I know it would be hard to do, with all of the time and effort you need. I want to prove to myself that I can do it for me, because I want to.

7. When you attended school, were you the class clown, the class overachiever, the shy person, or always ditching?

If those are the options, then overachiever. I always want to get a good grade and whether it comes to essays, projects, or assignments, I have to do well.

8. If you close your eyes and want to visualize a very poignant moment in your life, what would you see?

(Thanks for looking this up Ash...I had no clue!) I had no idea what poignant meant so I looked it up. "Poignant: sharply distressing or painful to the feelings"

I hate the thought of thinking of something painful. It would probably be losing someone close to me, or seeing my family and friends dealing with trials.

9. Is it easy for you to share your true self in your blog, or are you more comfortable writing posts about other people and events?

It's easy to bring out my true personality in my post's. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed of who I am, so why not show the world? 

10. If you had the choice to sit down and read a book or talk on the phone, which would you choose and why?

Both! Reading a book is great. You can enter into someone else's world, and not worry about yours...if even for a second. But talking on the phone makes you social. And I am definitely one to be social with others!

Sick? Can you say THIS SUCKS!

Wow. I am sick of being sick. Oh, how I hate these lovely little things we call colds.. It has brought me nothing but BOREDOM! Didn't feel good once Thursday, (got my patriarchal blessing...SO AMAZING!), and sick alllll day Friday. Didn't get to do anything. Today, Saturday, I cleaned my room. The cleanest it's ever been! I officially have no clothes though..it sucks. People always say, "Oh, I have nothing to wear!" ... I literally have nothing. A few shirts, 3 jeans, a couple of jackets...It's terrible! This calls for a shopping trip once I get better! Hanging out with my best girls tonight! Jordan, Ciera, and Alyssa later..Should be fun! Vegas next week with my best friend...Yes, it's for a tournament, but HELLOOOO HEAT! Sorry it was more of a catch up...again. Keep me on track here, guys! I need to start posting more about things!

Welcome to 2011, bloggers!

Well, we've made it through another year. 

Recap of 2010: One of the most amazing years of my life! So much happened. I learned about myself, what I can do, and what I love. My friends and family helped me get through the hard times, I wouldn't change it for anything. It was an easy going year, with so much fun. I met some interesting people, lost friends, and grew up. I turned sixteen {16} in 2010, got my license, had my first date, and got close to a lot of people. It was a year I'll always remember.
